The Quito Sweets Of The Gods Tour

Quito’s weather is very unpredictable, but the summer month of July is most sure to offer many spectacular days of clear blue skies to admire the city and its surrounding volcanoes. It is the perfect time to hop on the Quito TeleferiQo (cable cars) and enjoy the most spectacular panoramic views of this Andean city.

TeleferiqO Quito Ecuador

TeleferiQo is the safest way to reach the Pichincha Volcano and its attractions. In a short 8- minute cable car ride, one is able to enjoy two wonderful ecosystems: the Andean Forest and the Paramo (moorlands).

Once reaching the top of the TeleferiQo, 4 tourist routes are offered: Humboldt, Historic, Ancestor and Volcano Route. The latter includes a hike to the summit of the Rucu Pichincha Volcano, which is a moderately difficult climb that offers the opportunity of reaching 4.680 meters in a relatively short time and experiencing the exhilaration of the summit of an active volcano!

TeleferiQo offers a great way to train for mountain climbers, reaching a high altitude in a very short period of time. Moreover, it also offers an easy way to access great downhill mountain bike trails. There are special prices offered for downhill bikers, as well as a package for the whole day.

Hiking trails are also offered, as well as a restaurant and cafeteria. TeleferiQo is a wonderful option for a Quito clear summer day!
A great way to access the TeleferiQo and complementing a complete tour of the city is through the Quito Tour Bus.
